This cultural identity dates back to the dawn of the last century, and although the facilities have been updated over time, the characteristic of the personal relationship with the customer has remained.

People on the beach in Rimini feel at home. Lifeguards look after the beach meticulously, so that its golden sand is always soft and clean. And safe, where we can play with our children, take long walks or simply relax.

Bathing in the sea in Rimini is safe thanks to the lifeguard service. On the beaches in the province of Rimini, every 150 metres there are lifeguard watchtowers. Eyes that watch over us so that nothing unpleasant happens to us, and ready to intervene if necessary.

At each lifeguard station there is a lifeguard assistant with a licence issued by the National Lifeguard Society or the Italian Swimming Federation (Lifeguard Section). The lifeguard assistant is at the lifeguard station ready to enter the water with the moscone. The service is active from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. with partial deactivation from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. indicated by the red flag.

On the beach in Rimini you won’t get lost thanks to Publiphono

Every day on the beach in Rimini, the Publiphono service is active. With its main broadcast, Radio Vacanza, it makes its voice heard along the entire coastline through a widespread sound system. In addition to music and information on local activities, Publiphono broadcasts messages to find children or elderly people lost on the beach. Every summer, hundreds of people are found. A service aimed at the tourist community, completely free of charge, to whom the serenity of our stay on the Riviera is entrusted.

Rimini’s beach is plastic free

Rimini’s beach has already been plastic free for years. The sale and distribution of drinks in glasses and with disposable plastic straws is therefore prohibited. For a sustainable beach that promotes the wellbeing of those who visit it, it is also forbidden to smoke on the shoreline.

Fun on the beach

The latest trend on the beach in Rimini are the chiringuiti, kiosks by the sea serving drinks and snacks all day long.
