Born from the ashes of the Enoteca del Teatro, it opened its doors in its new guise on 15th December 2019. The partners, capable entrepreneurs in the catering sector, have created this little gem where quality food is combined with great wine research. Protagonists are the young inkeepers Chiara and Valeria, who dedicate themselves to a varied and curious customers.
The formula is that of a multifunctional restaurant: take-away wine, special attention to aperitifs and considerable care for after-dinner drinks, with a fine selection of spirits. A little curiosity: the Enoteca owes its name to the emperor Tiberius, who built bridges but not only, and was a great lover of food and, above all, wine, so much so that he was nicknamed “Biberius”.
At Biberius you will always find new and carefully selected wines to suit every palate, occasion and time of the day.
Biberius is more than just a wine shop: it is a meeting place crowded with memories, anecdotes, life stories, “pataccate” (in local dialect) and contagious laughter.
A perfect place to stop time at least for a while, far from the frenetic rhythms of everyday life, enveloped in the colours and scents of the enchanting Borgo San Giuliano. Sitting outside, looking out over the narrow streets and picturesque murals dedicated to the great Fellini, you immediately feel at home, a true borghigiano, and you feel as if you have actually always been there, and would never want to leave.
